Free poker practice

Game Theory Poker is free-to-play poker strategy practice. There are no deposits, buy-ins, cash-outs, prizes, or items of real-world value.

Account and play information

Accounts contain your email address, poker name, password hash, optional phone number, avatar, and session credentials. We store gameplay statistics, tournament results, saved coaching, exercise and daily-challenge completion, friendships, requests, and invitation activity. The guided trial runs on your device without signup. Live games are temporary; learning history persists.

Optional coaching

If you turn on coaching before a tournament, we record your decisions and relevant hand context. Completed hand/action information can be sent to OpenAI to generate coaching. Coaching is optional and may be unavailable. It is educational feedback, not a guarantee of correct or exact game-theory-optimal play. We do not send your email, phone number, or account credentials for coaching. Provider processing and security retention are subject to its policies.

Sharing completed hands

You choose whether to publish a completed hand. A public link can be opened and forwarded by anyone who has it. Your own cards are hidden unless you explicitly reveal them. Opponents' private cards and account identifiers are excluded. Links expire after 30 days and can be revoked by their owner. Revocation or expiry prevents future access through our service; it cannot erase screenshots or copies already made by recipients.

First-party measurement

We collect small events for the trial, account completion, first hand, tournament completion, returns, invitations, and connection recovery. Events may include a random event/device identifier, an existing player/session identifier, app version, locale, and campaign/source tags. They exclude contact details and card contents. A language or locale is not proof of a player's country. Raw event records are kept for up to 90 days and are used for aggregate service and growth reports. We link device events to an account when you sign in so account deletion also removes those linked events.

Storage, purpose, and deletion

We use this information to authenticate you, run games, preserve learning progress, support social features, prevent abuse, and improve reliability. Account and learning records are stored on our server; iPhone session tokens are stored in Keychain. Review-prompt eligibility and cooldown are stored on your device. You can delete your account in Settings. Deletion removes owned learning records, shares, social records, and linked measurement events. Anonymous events that have never been linked to an account expire under the 90-day limit. Deleting the app removes local trial/review state but does not delete your server account.

Advertising and reviews

We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party advertising. Apple controls whether an in-app review prompt appears. Requests do not depend on winning, and no reward is offered for a rating or review.

Help, data requests, and children

For account help, a data request, or to report a child's account, email tommaciejewski4@gmail.com. The app is not directed to children under 13. We will update this page when our practices change.
